Plans Afoot to Shorten the Work Commute for Riverside Residents
The plans have been in place since the early 1990's, but the development of a huge business park with a metrolink center is beginning to look like more of a reality now along the 215.
We already have the palatial tract homes and excellent schools in Orangecrest, so it'll be a relief to have somewhere for people to work rather than driving to Orange and L.A. counties.
I have mixed feelings, of course. I'll miss the open fields, coyotes, and tumble weeds along with the orange groves. But the people are already here, and if they don't have to drive so far to work, and if they can take a train, it should help reduce some of our smog.
